Can't upgrade the unlocked iPhone to 3.1.3. Wish I'd knew 3.1.3 was required before purchasing. Still - would rather support the developer of the clever hack before giving another $ to ATT. ;)

Great idea and after a few fits and restarting it worked as advertised. A couple things. Photos taken in landscape got squished into a vertical orientation.maybe you have to turn the iPad as well? The other thing that happened was when using the crop and zoom feature the photos came out upside down in the photos app. Good start though Now if you could do this with my hasselblad.

I was just wondering how can someone who has a great idea about and app and who can that person talk to about there idea. See I got the new iPad, and there coming out with with the camera USB/sd card adapters. And I'm a photography by hobby, and I think it would be cool if I could take photos and instead of. Viewing it threw the camera 3 inch LCD screen, I could view it right away on the iPad. Like again on the camera on the LCD screen. If you can help me with finding a person that can make that happen, that would be great. Thank you very much.

I can't and won't update to OS3.1.3. Why on earth would you make it OS 3.1.3 specific when that particular OS adds absolutely ZERO functionality over OS 3.1.2? Bad call. Please support OS3.1.2 as you will have much much better success in the App store having done so.

Why are so many people being so rude in these comments? So you paid a dollar and discovered that the app requires a 3GS. That is no cause to accuse the software author of stealing from you. It's obviously an honest mistake, there is a refund process if you want to take advantage of it. And the author has immediately offered to rectify the problem. Don't jump to such uncharitable conclusions next time.
And vanishlab - thank you for thinking of this and making it available to us. I will certainly buy it when I get my iPad; I must wait until the wifi+3G model is released in Australia.

This seems like a great app that I will buy and install as soon as I can buy an ipad in Canada. I was wondering if this same concept could be applied to video and being able to stream the video being captured on the iphone to the ipad. Perhaps this could be a way to eventually enable video conferencing apps on the ipad once you can run two apps at once in the future? My big beed with the ipad is that it has no camera and therefore things like videochat through a skype app are not possible. Apple was stupid there but I guess they will put it in the next version of hardware and force us all to upgrade!

I don't have an iPad, but my wife and I have two iPhones (a 3G and a 3GS). I also have a tripod mount for my iPhone. This would be VERY useful for us, so we could mount one phone on the tripod, then stand in front of the camera and take a picture with the second iPhone.
Please, PLEASE consider releasing an iPhone version of Camera-A. With people going on vacations, and wanting to take group pictures, it would be VERY useful!

I know other people have also expressed an interest in this, but I think that your app would integrate beautifully with os X to be a wireless webcam. Video support would be cool, but even if its just pictures for now, it would be very useful to be able to send images straight to your macbook/macbook pro/ iMac etc from your webcam via a bluetooth or wifi pair.

I like this app. I especially like the upgrade adding a shutter button on the iPhone.
There are still two issues that I see.
1. On my set-up iPhone 3G and a 64Gb WiFi only iPad, the photos come to my iPad backwards and upside down. I solved the upside down problem by holding my iPhone upside down. But the photos are still flipped horizontally.
2. The iPad asks to save each photo after it is taken. This means that I must run back to my iPad after every shot when it would be simpler to leave my iPad in one place and run all over taking photos. It seems to me that in this digital photo age we do not need to worry about using up film. The iPad should just accept every photo taken. They can be edited afterward, just like any other digital camera.
Keep up the good work. I know you'll solve these issues.

I know this sounds crazy but here goes. While using with a 3G and trying out the Zoom feature my iPhone let out a 'rooster crowing sound' . I have no alerts set and no such sound on the iPhone, where did it come from. Is this a gag from the app developer. Please let me know, The wife heard it too. Both a & b are the latest updates. Love the app, thanks

Need support - not working properly
Just got app, it is working, but will not connect if i do wi-fi only on the same network, wants bluetooth. But when i press take photo it only saves to iphone, not i pad. I need it to save to ipad. I am not finding any settings. Can you make a faq sheet or offer some troubleshooting. Thanks!

Would be great if make this work with the blue tooth cams that work with the MAC. Then you don't have to use the phone.

my iphone and my ipad connect with no problem but when i press the camera button the ipad it freezes the pic a sec like it is taking the pic but i get no pic saved in my photos. I also noticed in the Pirillo video that a box should pop up asking me if i want to save the pic. I do not get this option. I would appreciate if you could email me as to how to correc this problem. せっかくの良いアプリなので仕様上難しければしょうがないですが下記の改善を検討して頂けると嬉しいです。
1)ipadの右上に保存形式が表示されていますが、デフォルト設定を選べるようにして欲しいです。
ipadは画面が大きいので高画質転送の需要は大きいと思いますが、デフォルトが低画質なので毎回手動で選ばなければいけず煩わしいです。
2)同様に保存形式の箇所に関して手動で他の形式を選択しても、選択した瞬間のみ青色に変わりますが、選択された形式は常時青色にして欲しいです。
現状だと全ての形式が灰色になってしまう為、どれを選んだか分からず不便です。
3)技術的に1番困難かもしれませんが、撮影してをipadで受信完了した後に表示される画像が、明らかに撮影した後のタイムラグのある画像であったり、バグった様な画像で受信してしまう事もあるので改善して欲しいです。

downloaded camera a and camera b today on ipad and iphone respectively - can connect, but live feed just appears as a white screen on the ipad - can't see any picture, but works fine on iphone. When I "snap" a picture from ipad, it does capture and save the still shot, but can't "see" what I am taking. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? I really, really want to use this app - sounds/looks so cool!

Original iPhone support removed in latest release of Camera-B
By requiring iOS 4 in your latest version of Camera-B, you've removed the ability of the original iPhone to use with Camera-A. This was one of the things I liked about your apps. Is there any way you can pull back the requirements to allow the original iPhone with it's last iOS update (3.1.1) to use Camera-B again? Please allow for this to happen, as I'm sure there are many original iPhones that are perfect for your app.

Pretty cool - great for 99 cents. Seems best to launch camera-b on iPhone just before camera-a on iPad. Relaunch both if they don't find each other (at least on wi-fi).
Suggestion: add a command to remotely switch from Live Camera mode to Pro Camera mode. That way I can frame the shot, then take the hi-res photo.
I don't understand the difference between Pro Camera and Controller modes, but it works anyway.
Also, seems to have some orientation issues on Camera-A. Workaround, lock orientation on the Camera-A device into portrait. You can always rotate the photo later.

the app doesn´t work in an IPAD 2 . please resolve the problem with another actualization.
Live camera won't transfer picture - iPhone 4 to iPad 1
Hi,
Just purchased the app, tested on my iPhone 4 and my new iPad 1, and in the Live Mode, Camera-B won't send picture to Camera-A; it just says "Sending 1 of 0" forever. Could you please fix that and provide an updated app?
